Hemant G ( “Sunny”) is an executive based in Danville, California. Splitting his time between his New York and Nashville offices, he often found that, when back in the Bay Area, meetings ended up in coworking spaces or big-brand coffee shops. He kept imagining a place where people could connect, think, and—when needed—conduct business without leaving the comfort of a living room.
In the summer of 2024, Sunny visited a local Mediterranean restaurant owned by Ibrahim and was struck by the warmth of the service and the operational polish. He shared his idea: a new-age lounge—part townhome living room, part café—where guests could work, relax, and gather over health-forward food and exceptional drinks.
Ibrahim—focused on expanding his restaurant—initially passed on the concept. Over the next few weeks, Sunny stayed politely persistent. Before leaving on a business trip, he left a parting thought: “Think about it one last time—we could create a legacy for the community, a place for real human connection after the digital overload since COVID.” While Sunny was away, the idea lingered with Ibrahim.
When Sunny returned, Ibrahim pondered over the vision into focus, drafting the core tenets of the concept: comfort-first design, a fully equipped private boardroom, a wellness-oriented menu, and uncompromising service. Together with their aligned vision and sixteen months since their first meeting, KavehG opened its doors in September 2025.
Today, KavehG – Your Townhome Lounge & Extended Living Room offers cozy, home-like seating for early risers and late-night readers alike. For work, our private boardroom includes a TV, printer, and whiteboard. For everyone, we roast our own coffee in-house and serve healthy breakfasts, fresh juices, herbal teas, artisanal pastries, creamy gelato, and indulgent fondue. Sustainability guides our choices, and Community and Comfort lead the way. Come by, settle in, and make it yours.
